Local is a social enterprise of the Wildsight Elk Valley branch which aims to cultivate a thriving, knowledgeable, and resilient local food culture in the Elk Valley through education, advocacy, and community engagement. Local provides a storefront and online store in Fernie for farmers and local food producers to sell their products, and enables customers to access fresh and delicious local food year-round.
Products of interest
BC-grown and produced food items, from fresh produce to meat, eggs, shelf-stable goods, and more. Emphasis is placed on working with small and medium scale producers.
